You can't fix a call you haven't seen.
Owners usually know their close rate. What they don't always know is the exact moment on the call where the job slipped away.
Is it the walkthrough? The price reveal? A tech who never mentions the system's age? Watching a few real calls answers that faster than any spreadsheet. I'm not there to judge your people. I'm there to see what they're up against.
What to expect.
Times are a rough guide. Every shop's schedule is different, and the calls decide the day.
Meet the team
A quick sit-down with you and whoever's riding. I explain what I'm looking for and make sure nobody thinks they're being graded.
Ride along
I ride with your advisors or techs on real appointments. I stay in the background unless you want me to step in and run one.
Talk in the truck
The best coaching happens between calls. What went well, what got missed, and one thing to try on the next house.
Straight talk with the owner
End of the day, we sit down and I tell you what I saw. What's working, what's costing you jobs, and what I'd fix first.
A short written summary
A page or two, not forty. The top things to fix, in order, so you can act on it whether or not you hire me for anything else.
- A full day of callsReal appointments, not a demo. A mix of sales and service calls is ideal.
- A heads-up to the teamLet them know I'm coming and why, so it doesn't feel like a surprise inspection.
- Your numbers, if you have themClose rate, average ticket, leads per week. Rough is fine.
- An honest readWhere your calls are winning and where they're leaking.
- A short fix listThe few changes that would make the biggest difference, in order.
- A clear next stepIf more help makes sense, I'll say what it would look like. If it doesn't, I'll say that too.
